Dick Cavett and the Duke
In our recent Ballad of Cable Hogue post, we mentioned that Jeff Arnold’s West was accepted as a member of the Classic Movie Blog Association (CMBA).

Much to our surprise, the Association quickly moved to profile the site as one of its new members. The profile took the form of an interview with the two of us by email, with well-considered questions posed by Maddy from Classic Film And TV Corner .
And so, e-pards, despite neither RR nor Bud particularly liking the limelight, Jeff Arnold’s West now has a profile post at the CMBA site. The link is provided below:
Our thanks to the board of CMBA for the opportunity.
Please enjoy and, as always, your comments – made either here or on the CBMA post – are welcome and appreciated.

Argh! I’d never heard of the CMBA before – now there are myriad sites for me to spend precious time reading about old movies instead of watching old movies…
Congratulations on being included and profiled, well earned and definitely deserved.
Thanks J S! And I know what you mean!
Excellent! The site and your work deserve the accolades.
Jeff surely would have been proud of you both !
Thanks all. Most kind.
Jean-Marie, I often think (and expect RR does as well) what Jeff would think about the state of his namesake blog.
I do.
THREE CHEERS for Bud and that Enigma named RR ! ! ! !
That’s a CLASSIC statement RR made about himself. Michael Cimino is THE MOST enigmatic person I’ve ever read about, but RR gives Mr. Cimino a run for his money ! ! ! !
I’m an international man of mystery… 🙂
I discovered this blog a short while before Jeff Arnold’s death but did not manage to express my appreciation while he was living. My wife loves Westerns, and as a result I have come to love them too. Thanks, Jeff! Thanks, RR and Bud, for keeping the site going, and congratulations on the new recognition!
The kind words are appreciated, Gregory! And additional comments (from you and/or your wife) are more than welcome.
