Howdy, e-pards!
Some of you may have noted (and a certain Jean-Marie certainly *did* note) that Jeff Arnold’s West was afflicted several hours ago by the Lee Van Cleef of internet errors :
Fortunately, the site’s webmaster, BetterCallChris, galloped to the rescue… even though he is currently on holiday and without his full complement of gear.
As of now, resolving the error required disabling the site’s Search box and its search engine. This is a temporary situation.
BUT… the site’s Index is very much available and accessible through the Menu. If you care to post a comment about a specific film (and you know you do!), please access it through the Index.

It’s great that the site is going to be okay ! ! !
And Lee Van Cleef is honored that you’ve used him as the gold standard of comparison.
🙂
Thanks for the info. I noticed the message yesterday morning then it worked fine the rest of the day.
“I’m gettin’ mad, soldier boy, and when I’m mad, I’m bad”…
(That’s almost what I felt when I noticed the blog was out of order for a while…) remembering Lee Van Cleef speaking to Mark Stevens (no related to Cat as far as I know…) in Jack Slade, an other excellent 1953 vintage.
By the way Lee is 100 since January 9th…
I have just noticed that the searchbox has vanished…
